Alex’s Senior Portrait Session

I had such a great time with Alex and his mom, Teresa, for Alex’s senior portrait session in Chagrin Falls. I first met Teresa when I photographed her older son, Nick for his senior photos, so I knew we were going to have a fun time for this shoot. Alex is a super laid-back, easy-going guy with a great smile. An accomplished cross-country runner, we decided to start at Beartown Lakes, where Alex often runs, and went to downtown Chagrin Falls to get the iconic waterfall shot. Thanks so much for a great session, Alex and Teresa! Here are my favorites:

Victoria’s Senior Portraits

Victoria is girl after my own heart. I totally identified with her personality and we even share the habit of wanting to reorganize our rooms when we have free time. We hit it off and had a great session! Victoria’s super cute, energetic, and floppy puppy, Josie, joined us for awhile, too. Thank you so much, Victoria! I really enjoyed meeting you and I’ll be in touch soon! Here are my favorites:

Sarah’s Senior Portraits

Sarah is her high school’s yearbook editor and she picked me to do her senior portraits! Ha, no pressure! I was super honored and Sarah and I had a great time together! Sarah has a beautiful smile and personality to match. I just loved spending time with her and her mom! A big thanks to Sarah’s family friends who let us shoot in their beautiful home just a few days after they recovered from the flu! Here are my favorites:

Alex’s Senior Portraits

I was so flattered when Alex told me that when she was freshman in high school, she had seen some of my work and knew that she wanted me to take her senior portraits. I was humbled and honored to do so and we had a crazy nice day in December for her session. It was colder out than it looked, but Alex handled it with grace and beauty. One of my favorite sessions this year! Thanks so much, Alex! It was so great working with you, your mom and sister! Here are my favorites:

Danielle’s Senior Portrait

A late-season senior portrait session can be so hit-or-miss in terms of the weather in Northeastern Ohio, and of course, the day I met Danielle and her mother was somewhat of a miss. It was rainy and cold, but Danielle was totally willing to try for some outdoor shots on the golf course at Chagrin Valley Country Club. Poor thing was freezing! We ventured out onto the golf course, but called the session for weather and headed back to the club house to finish up inside. Luckily, Dad wasn’t too far away and was able to bring Danielle’s flat iron to help with the waves that came back to Danielle’s hair in the rain! Danielle rolled with it all and we ended up with a great shoot! Here are my favorites:

Dan’s Senior Portraits

Dan comes from a very talented musical family and one day decided to learn how to play guitar because his dad and brother play, too. That was like last year. I asked him to play a little bit for me while we shot and I was amazed! And jealous…I wish I could learn things like that that quickly! Thanks for the song and a great session, Dan!

Ben’s Senior Portraits

When Ben’s mom contacted me for her son’s senior photos, I was so excited and flattered. Kim is quite an accomplished painter and I was honored that she chose me to take Ben’s portraits. Ben is a quiet guy and has a very comfortable, confident air about him. We started with some photos at their newly built house and then moved on to nearby Chagrin Falls. We had a beautiful day and I really enjoyed my time with both Ben and his mom. Thanks so much for the opportunity, Kim!
