Alli and Kevin’s Wedding Print Materials

Allison Blumberg and Kevin Folger became Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Folger on October 18, 2008.  I had the great opportunity to design the Folgers’ wedding programs, seating chart and placecards.  Alli wanted simple and elegant so the only embellishments we used were some ribbon and custom-designed flourishes.  Alli had such a great idea to pin her placecards to red delicious apples with a little ribbon and pearl stick pin. Simple, elegant and fun!  I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of Alli’s program, but will post one as soon as I recreate it.

Thank you Alli and Kevin!  I had a great time working with you and your reception looked beautiful!  Congratulations and see you soon!

Rehearsal Dinner and Ceremony Invitations

Things are really coming together for Julie and David’s wedding coming up this August! We’ve been tweaking all of the print materials for the actual wedding, including the programs, escort cards, table cards and menus. Thus far, we’ve printed up the following two invitations for the big weekend: Rehearsal Dinner Invitations and Ceremony Invitations. Julie chose this photo from their engagement session and came up with very cute wording to invite her wedding party, family and friends to the rehearsal festivities. The ceremony invitations are small cards (slightly larger than business cards) that Julie and David will present to those people who they would love to have as witnesses at their wedding ceremony.

Baby Announcements

I love it when I get the opportunity to be involved at different stages of big events like photographing a baby shower, taking the baby portraits and then designing the baby announcements. Recently, I’ve had the honor to do just that for two very wonderful families. Followers of the blog have most likely seen the shower shots and highlights from the portrait shoots.

For the twins, I was inspired by the green colors from their super cute bedroom. Angie and Mike did a fantastic job of painting green and white stripes in the nursery. For Elisabeth, I wanted to create an announcement that was girlie enough to represent Mom and Elisabeth, but not so girlie that Dad and the boys felt left out.

Here are the final designs for their respective announcements. (Please note, names and details have been changed for privacy reasons.)
